Clarinex is a perfect remedy for outdoor as well as indoor allergies. How to Take Drug
The required dose of Clarinex depends upon your age and other health issues. On the basis of age, following is the requirement for Clarinex doses:
- 6 months to 11 months -1mg of Clarinex syrup.
- 12 months to 5 years - 1.25mg of Clarinex syrup.
- 6 years to 11 years - 2.5mg of Clarinex syrup or tablet.
- 12 years and above - 5mg of Clarinex syrup or tablet.
Remember! Clarinex dose must be given once a day, before or after meal.
Drug Precautions
Clarinex contains ingredients that might not gel with your body in special situations. Thus, you must discuss your health and other issues with your phusician to avoid any severe results to happen. The physicians might provide useful information about precautions to be taken in the following cases:
- If you are allergic to certain medicines, then Clarinex intake may also cause allergic infections.

Drug Interactions

Missed Dose
If you have missed a dose, you must skip it, if long time has passed. Never try to take double dose of Clarinex.
Overdose
As mentioned earlier, it is not advisable to consume overdose of Clarinex, as it might lead to hard situations like drowsiness and uncontrolled rate of heart beats.
Storage
Clarinex must be stored at place, which is away from reach of sun and moisture, as heat, light and water may reduce its effectiveness. It must be stored in a air-tight container at room temperature between 36-77 degree Fahrenheit. Keep it away from the reach of children and pets.
